Julius J. Carry III the man who portrayed Sho’nuff The Shogun of Harlem in The Last Dragon was only 56 when he died from pancreatic Cancer on this day in 2008. Can you believe that it has already been 5 years since his passing?

It’s hard to put into words just how great of a job he did on screen in The Last Dragon. Sho’nuff is quite possibly the greatest movie villain of all-time. His bad-assness must be seen to be appreciated. Check out some of his video highlights below:

  1. Brisco County, Jr. He was so fantastic as Lord Bowler. I honestly didn’t know of his passing. This truly saddens me and breaks my heart. I thank God for him. Viva Julius Carry!!!

  2. Sho Nuff and Bruce Lee Roy were my favorite actors of all time when I was a youngster. My cousins and I replayed that movie over and over again, while practicing karate moves on one another. All while arguing who’s girl is Laura Charles! Lol. I can honestly say the last dragon will never be topped, in this lifetime or the next. Thanks for the great memories to all the actors and RIP SHO NUFF! You were the badass no fo shogun of Harlom…..
